Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interference type optical fiber sensor capable of suppressing an increase in components and reducing noise.SOLUTION: An interference type optical fiber sensor comprises: a pulse light source which outputs pulse light at a predetermined cycle; a sensing interferometer including a sensing fiber which detects a physical quantity; a delay compensation interferometer including a delay compensation fiber whose propagation delay time is equal to the sensing fiber; and an optical shift circuit connected in series to the sensing interferometer and the delay compensation interferometer and including an optical frequency shifter which shifts a pulse light frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
