PURPOSE: To implement optical radio communication between terminal equipments arranged to completely shut a light by integrating the repeater for optical space transmission into an interior door.
CONSTITUTION: An interior door 103 with a repeater for optical space transmission integrates an optical transmitter-receiver for the repeater for optical space transmission in its inside and devices having functions not included in the optical transmitter-receiver 101 (that is, a transmission section, a reception section, a modulation section, a demodulation section, a CPU. a memory, a P/S modulator, an interface section) 102 are provided on a wall. Thus, terminal equipments arranged to shield completely the light (e.g. terminal equipments located at different rooms) can make optical radio communication. Preferably, this system is applied to an optical radio LAN(Local Area Network) to form a new optical radio LAN.
