Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the shock absorbing function by incorporating simple and inexpensive means for absorbing a sidewise shock load, in an interior part such as an automobile door trim or a rear side trim.
CONSTITUTION: A bank-like bracket 30 made of a resilient material is fixed at its opposite ends to the rear surface of a trim body 10, its center part being bulged toward a vehicle body panel 20 so as to form a bulged part 32 having a flexibility which can effectively absorb a sidewise shock load caused of a sidewise bump or the like, thereby it is possible to relieve a shock transmitted to the passenger.
