To obtain an isolated polypeptide useful for treating cancer, inflammation and autoimmune diseases, etc., developing medicines diagnostic assays, etc., by including a specific amino acid sequence.
This polypeptide is such one as to be selected from the group consisting of (A) an isolated polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of those having (i) ≥70% identity with, (ii) ≥80% identity with, (iii) ≥90% identity with, and (iv) ≥95% identity with an amino acid sequence of the formula throughout its length, (B) an isolated polypeptide having the amino acid sequence of the formula, and (C) an isolated polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of the formula. This isolated polypeptide is obtained by culturing, under conditions sufficient to produce this polypeptide, host cells having cell membrane capable of expressing the polypeptide followed by recovering the aimed polypeptide from the resulting cultured product.
