USE: A remedy for immunological insufficiency, cancer, autoimmune infectious diseases, etc.
PREPARATION: A cultivation supernatant liquid of an ATL cell (T leukemic cell strain established from human adult type T leulkemic patients) is concentrated and purified by salting out, vacuum dialysis, ultrafiltration, gel filtration chromatography, ion exchange chromatography, etc., to give the aimed ADF protein specimen. The resultant specimen is applicable to a wide range as a remedy alone or by use together with interleukin 2 (IL2), another lymphokine or immunologically active substance and the specimen or peptides constituting the specimen are usable for diagnosis of various diseases individually or by combination with their antibody.
