PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight interlining cloth, using yarns containing specific polyester fiber staples as constituent yarns for the interlining cloth, useful as a front interlining cloth, an additional interlining cloth, etc., of clothes, excellent in formability and shape retaining properties and hardly deteriorating the flexural rigidity in a consumption stage.
CONSTITUTION: This interlining cloth for clothes is attached to the interior of the clothes and obtained by weaving yarns containing 30-100wt.% polyester fiber staples having 10-50%, preferably 20-40% percentage of hollowness thereof as warp and/or weft yarns. The thickness of the polyester fibers is 3-30 denier and the length thereof is 70-150mm. The twist coeffipient of the yarns is preferably 70-150 according to the metric system.
