Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking brake device of a straddle type vehicle, capable of exerting stable braking performance regardless of change in a riding load.SOLUTION: There is provided an operating force distribution mechanism 8 that transmits operating force to a rear wheel brake 11 in response to operation of a brake pedal 25, as well as to a front wheel brake when the operating force inputted from the brake pedal 25 exceeds an interlock starting threshold value. The operating force distribution mechanism 8 increases the interlock starting threshold value with increase in shrinkage displacement of a rear cushion 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
