Title:
INTERLOCKING BRAKE PART ARRANGEMENT STRUCTURE OF SADDLE-RIDING TYPE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2015067246
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a piping length of an interlocking brake system.SOLUTION: Fluid pressure generated in a rear master cylinder 27 by operation of a brake pedal 26 is led from a discharge hose 40a to a PCV 41, where the fluid pressure is distributed longitudinally and supplied to a rear caliper 25 of a rear wheel brake 30 by a rear distribution pipe 44 and supplied by a front distribution pipe 46 to a front caliper 18 of a front wheel brake 20 through a delay valve 47 and a second front wheel brake hose 22. This allows the front wheel brake 20 and the rear wheel brake 30 to be braked with appropriately distributed brake force only by the brake pedal 26. The PCV 41 is attached to a stay 50 welded to an engine hanger 37 provided above a center frame 33. This allows the front distribution pipe 46 to be piped to the delay valve 47 along a main frame 32 so that the piping length of the front distribution pipe 46 can be reduced as much as possible.
