Abstract:
To provide an intermediate beam type suspension in which a problem such as breakage and so on is hard to occur at a tip part of a reinforcement member even if stress in a twist direction acts on an intermediate beam.SOLUTION: An intermediate beam type suspension 1 comprises: a pair of trailing arms 10; an intermediate beam 20, and a reinforcement member 30 which reinforces a coupling part at which the trailing arm 10 and the intermediate beam 20 couple. The intermediate beam 20 has a cross sectional shape which is bent from an open part 21 toward an apex 22 which is positioned at a position opposite to the open part. The reinforcement member 30 has a bifurcated part 31, and inside the intermediate beam 20, both outer sides of the bifurcated part 31 are joined to an inner peripheral surface of the intermediate beam 20. A tip part 32 of the bifurcated part 31 is bent toward the apex 22 of the intermediate beam 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
