To provide an intermediate buffer device capable of eliminating inconvenience owing to a conventional technique in which a primary handling device and a secondary handling device must be actuated simultaneously.
The middle buffer device 4 is installed between the primary and secondary handling devices and stores temporarily a folded continuous sheet of paper 5 fed from the primary handling device in the folded-up condition and in such a way as capable of being sent out to the secondary handling device, wherein the arrangement includes a stacking part 41 having a stacking surface 411 whereon the continuous sheet 5 is stacked in the folded-up condition and a pull out opening 42 formed in the stacking surface 411 and capable of drawing out the undermost leaf of the stacked continuous sheet 5 downward and leading to the secondary handling device.
