Abstract:

To provide an intermediate coat composition having good storage stability and capable of giving a coating film which is curable through baking at relatively low temperatures in a short time and affords improved appearance with favorable repellency, foaming and saggingness due to coating circumstances, to provide a method for forming the multilayer coating film, and to provide a product coated with the above composition.

This intermediate coat composition comprises a polyester resin, a crosslinking agent, a pigment, and a low-boiling amine (A1) 50-100°C in boiling point and a high-boiling amine (A2) 130-380°C in boiling point with the weight ratio: A1/A2 of (1:9) to (9:1). The 2nd objective method for forming the multilayer coating film and the other objective product coated with the above composition are provided, respectively.
