Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an useful intermediate to obtain useful products used as multifunctional (e.g. extreme pressure, antiwear, antioxidant and anticorrosion) lubricant additives.
CONSTITUTION: Intermediate compounds selected from a group composed of 4-tridecyl monoester of 2-bromosuccinic acid, ditridecyl ester of 2-bromosuccinic acid, 4-olein monoester of 2-bromosuccinic acid, 4-octadecyl monoester of 2- bromosuccinic acid and 2-bromo-4-dodecylamino-4-oxobutanoic acid are provided.
