Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate cylinder for a sheet-feed press and a sheet-feed press, in which setting of a device can be readily changed even if the size of paper sheet is changed, the flapping of sheets can be suppressed and occurrence of poor drying, or stains or damages or the like to a printing surface can be prevented.
SOLUTION: An intermediate cylinder for transferring the sheets in the sheet- feed press is equipped with a plurality of suction boxes 15a, 15b formed by being disposed at rotating positions of the cylinder body inner part different from each other, a plurality of induction ports 16 formed at respective suction boxes 15a, 15b so as to open at the cylinder main body outer surface, a suction power applying means 10 for applying suction force to the suction boxes 15a, 15b, and a switching means 7 for selectively switching connection between the plurality of suction boxes 15a, 15b and the suction force applying means 10.
