Abstract:
To provide a golf ball with a novel intermediate layer in order to improve ball characteristics.
The intermediate layer of the golf ball essentially consists of a specific triblock copolymer or its hydrogenated product, and a specific block copolymer or their mixture is used. The drawbacks anticipated by using such layer are not admitted and the intermediate layer imparts the ball characteristics reformed unexpectedly relating to a spin speed, feeling and durability. The layer can be incorporated into a wide range of various kinds of known ball structures.
