Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt which has a different surface resistance between a belt surface and a belt back surface and where stripping between layers is not caused.
SOLUTION: An endless intermediate transfer belt 1 is used to primarily transfer a developed image carried on a photoreceptive drum by being brought into contact with the photoreceptor drum and to secondarily transfer the developed image primarily transferred on a transfer material. The intermediate transfer belt 1 has a substrate 2 and the plural kinds of carbon 3 and 4 which are dispersed in the substrate 2 and whose electrical conductivity are different and the plural kinds of the carbon 3 and 4 having a different electrical conductivity unevenly exist in the direction of a film thickness.
