Title:
INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER MEMBER HAVING CERAMER-CONTAINING SURFACE LAYER FOR ELECTROSTATIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10307415
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an electrophotographic intermediate toner transfer member having a surface which shows excellent properties of wear, surface energy and softness.

This intermediate toner transfer member consists of a base body and an outside surface layer containing a ceramer containing a hybrid org.-inorg. mesh structure of polyurethane silicic acid ester. The ceramer is produced by the crosslinking reaction of a polyurethane having a reactive alkoxysilane end part and a tetraalkoxysilane. The polyurethane having a silane end is the reaction product of one or more kinds of aliphatic polyols having terminal hydroxyl groups and an alkoxysilane-substd. alkylisocyanate compd. Moreover, this invention provides a forming method of the intermediate toner transfer member having an outside surface layer containing a polyurethane silica ester hybrid org.-inorg. mesh structure.
