Abstract:
To provide an intermediate treating method in the disposal of a mercury lamp capable of reducing an equipment cost and a running cost needing no heating.
In the intermediate treating method in the disposal of the mercury lamp 1 having an outer bulb 2, a light emitting tube 3 housed in the outer bulb 2 and mercury sealed in the light emitting tube 3, the outer bulb 2 is cut to take out the light emitting tube 3 and the light emitting tube 3 is cut to wash off mercury in the light emitting tube 3 from the opening part 3e thereof to recover the same.
