PURPOSE: To provide an intermittence dividing device in which an intermittence dividing motion can be obtained from a rotational motion in its reasonable structure by the use of a cam mechanism and a clutch means under the working principle of a pick and place unit, and besides, in which highly accurate dividing performance can be secured.

CONSTITUTION: An intermittence dividing device is provided with an output shaft 40 to which compound movement to individually generate rotational motion and axial reciprocating motion from a cam mechanism 32, is transmitted, a cylindrical body 47 provided at the output shaft 40, and a disc 48 which can be relatively rotated against this cylindrical body 47. The intermittence dividing device is also provided with a clutch device 46 which is intermittently operated according to a rotational load generated between these cylindrical body 47 and disc 48, and a stopper 38 with/from which the engagement body 39 of a table 55 attached to the disc 48 of the clutch device 46 moved accompanying the axial reciprocating motion of the output shaft 40, is engaged to be freely engaged/disengaged so that the clutch device 46 is intermittently operated.
