Abstract:
To provide an intermittent device capable of suppressing generation of noise, and a differential device.SOLUTION: An intermittent device 35 is capable of switching a coupled state and a released state between a side gear 34R as a first rotary member which is supported in a rotatable manner with respect to a case member 8, and a connection shaft 36 as a second rotary member. The intermittent device comprises: an input shaft 4 which is connected to the side gear 34R in a relatively unrotatable manner and of which the axial movement is regulated; a dog member 5 which is connected to the connection shaft 36 in a relatively unrotatable and axially movable manner; and a movement mechanism for moving the dog member 5 back and forth in an axial direction. The input shaft 4 and the dog member 5 include annular meshing parts 44 and 53 which are meshed with each other. The dog member 5 includes, at an outer peripheral side of the meshing part 53, a collar 500 for receiving flowing resistance of a lubricant L stored in a case member 8 at the time of axial movement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
