Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interruption device and a differential device capable of interrupting connection between rotary members by engagement of an interruption member axially moving by energization to an electromagnet, and making a constitution of a magnetic path of magnetic flux simple.SOLUTION: An interruption device 10 includes an interruption member 4 having engagement teeth 411 engaged with a differential case 2 by axial movement, and an actuator 5 for axially moving the interruption member 4. The actuator 5 has an electromagnet 51, a yoke 52 configuring a part of a magnetic path of magnetic flux of the electromagnet 51, a plunger 53 axially moving with the interruption member 4, and a supporting member 55 composed of a non-magnetic body supporting the plunger 53. The plunger 53 has a cylindrical portion 531 radially opposed to the electromagnet 51 through a clearance to hold the electromagnet 51 with the yoke 52, and the supporting member 55 supports the plunger 53 in a manner of being axially movable and relatively non-rotatable to the electromagnet 51 to keep the clearance with respect to the electromagnet 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
