Title:
INTERMITTENT FEEDING APPARATUS FOR NONWOVEN CLOTH MANUFACTURING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08260332
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an intermittent feeding apparatus for a nonwoven cloth manufacturing machine enabling accurate intermittent feed of various webs having different thickness with allowance using a small-sized lightweight feed motor.

CONSTITUTION: Fibers constituting a web 16 are entangled with each other by vertically reciprocating a needle plate 12 with a crank shaft 3B. In a nonwoven cloth manufacturing machine having the above mechanism, a sensor 19 for detecting the extraction of the needle from the web and the separation of the needle from the lower face of a stripper is attached to a stripper 18 having vertically adjustable position for squeezing the needle 13 with the web in the extraction of the needle. The rotational angle of the crank shaft is read by a rotational angle detector 11 upon receipt of the detection signal transmitted from the sensor 19. The rotational speed of a feed motor 23 to feed a prescribed length of the web during the time to rotate the detected rotational angle is calculated from the above data. Delivery rollers 22A, 22B are intermittently driven by the NC-controlled feed motor 23 according to the sensor signal.
