PURPOSE: To provide an intermittent feeding device which can be simply and economically constituted for both sandwiching method by which an article to be fed is sandwiched and fed intermittently and the feeding pin method by which the article to be fed is fed intermittenty by engaging a feeding pin with the pin hole of the article to be fed.

CONSTITUTION: An intermittent feeding device is provided with a clamp unit 1 whose position is fixed, a feeding unit 2 supported by guide rods 3a and 3b arranged under a feeding path 6 for an article to be fed and a driving means 4 for reciprocating this feeding unit 2. And driving cylinders 8 and 16 for elevating and driving elevating tables 9 and 17 of both units 1 and 2 are arranged under bases 7 and 15 located under the feeding path 6 so that the motion of piston rods of these driving cylinders 8 and 16 may be transmitted to the elevating tables 9 and 17 above the feeding path through elevating rods 10a, 18a and 18b arranged both right and left sides of the feeding path 6. Also, feeding pins 38a and 38b which can be fitted in pin holes 40a... of the article to be fed W are provided on the elevating table 17 of the feeding unit 2.
