PURPOSE: To surely synchronize the clock from a radio base station and that of a terminal equipment with each other by turning on a first switch to operate a data reception part even for the time other than the time when data is inserted in burstwise.

CONSTITUTION: A timing generation part 20 where power is always supplied from a power source 8 to generate a timing signal for timing of each circuit, a timer signal, and a power on/off control signal, a first switch SW1 and a second switch SW2 are provided. The power from the power source 8 is supplied to a data reception part 10, which is provided with the circuit to synchronize the clock from the radio base station and that of the terminal equipment with each other, through the first switch SW1 and is supplied to a data processing part 7 for data processing through the second switch SW2. Thus, the first switch SW1 is turned on even for the time other than the when data is inserted in burstwise, to synchronize the clock from the radio base station and that of the terminal equipment with each other.
