Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate tolerance management of a thrust bearing for an input shaft in a balancer device having the input shaft.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a balancer device 10 comprising an input shaft 13 connected to a crank shaft 2 through a winding type first transmission mechanism 16; a rear balancer shaft 12R connected to the input shaft 13 through the second transmission mechanism 17; a front balancer shaft 12F connected to the rear balancer shaft 12R through the third transmission mechanism 18; an upper housing 14A and a lower housing 14B formed with a half-split bearing; and the input shaft 13 having a flange 13e which expands in diameter between the two journals 13c, 13d. A thrust bearing groove 14Bd forming a pair of thrust bearings 14e is formed at a position corresponding to a flange part of the lower housing 14B and a receiving groove 14Ad for receiving the flange under non-contacted state is formed at a position of the upper housing 14A corresponding to the flange part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
