PURPOSE: To prevent lowering of engine control accuracy in spite of the performance dispersion of control parts by computing the feedback correction value on the basis of cylinder inner pressure, and controlling the basic fuel injection quantity or the basic ignition timing on the basis of this feedback correction value.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided with a cylinder inner pressure sensor 11 for generating output voltage proportional to the absolute value of the inner pressure of a cylinder 1a, and a rotation sensor 12a, disposed around the shaft of a distributor 10 interlocked with an engine 1, for outputting cylinder discriminating signals and crank angle signals; and these output signals are inputted into an ECU 100. The basic fuel injection quantity or the basic ignition timing is then computed on the basis of the intake air quantity computed from the cylinder inner pressure and the engine speed computed from the crank angle signal. The feedback correction value of the fuel injection quantity or basic ignition timing is also computed on the basis of the cylinder inner pressure, and on the basis of this correction value, the feedback correction control of the basic fuel injection quantity or the basic ignition timing is performed.
