Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an internal combustion engine capable of using mixed fuel including alcohol to achieve stable combustion while the same is in a transition state from when refilled fuel reaches a first cylinder until when the refilled fuel is supplied to all the cylinders.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device: predicts an air-fuel ratio in a cylinder (cylinder #1) where fuel is replaced first among the cylinders in a transition period from when refilled fuel reaches a first cylinder until when fuel in all the cylinders is replaced with the refilled fuel on the basis of output of an air-fuel ratio sensor 24; determines whether or not the predicted air-fuel ratio is out of a stable combustion range; and corrects fuel injection amounts of respective cylinders so that the air-fuel ratio of the cylinder (cylinder #1) falls within the stable combustion range when the predicted air-fuel ratio is out thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
