Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve countermeasures at the time of a failure and the convenience of maintenance by determining at least any of a short circuit failure in the output of an oxygen sensor, a disconnection failure in the output of the oxygen sensor, a closing failure in an actuator and an opening failure in the actuator.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine control device, an oxygen sensor for detecting an oxygen concentration in the exhaust pipe of a carburetor type internal combustion engine controls at least a carburetor and the internal combustion engine on the basis of the sensor voltage outputted between a first detection terminal and a second detection terminal. The internal combustion engine control device comprises a first connection terminal connected to the first detection terminal, a second connection terminal connected to the second detection terminal and to a fixed potential, a voltage detection circuit outputting a detection signal based on the voltage between the first connection terminal and the second connection terminal, and a control part for controlling the actuator of the carburetor on the basis of the detection signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
