Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge a rotational direction when the engine is rotated inversely without complicating a constitution of a signal generator, in an internal combustion engine control device having a function for inversely rotating the rotational direction of the engine.
SOLUTION: When reluctor is detected by the signal generator 2 and two pulse signals having differential polarities are respectively generated, a phase relation between output voltage of a magnetic power generator 1 and an output pulse of the signal generator 2 is set so as to indicate same polarities in half- wave polarities of output voltage of the magnetic power generator 1. After treatment for inversely rotating the rotational direction of the engine is performed, the rotational direction of the engine is judged from the half-wave polarities of the output voltage of the magnetic power generator when either one of pulse signals is generated by the signal generator 2, and it is confirmed that the rotational direction of the engine is inversely rotated. After that the engine is ignited at an ignition position at the time of low speed in a condition in which the rotational direction is inversely rotated.
