Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for protecting a chain having a tension variation increased when a fuel pressure P in a common rail abnormally rises.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device comprises: a port injecting fuel injection valve for injecting a fuel into a suction port; and an inter-cylinder fuel injection valve for injecting a high pressure fuel in a common rail into a combustion chamber. The fuel pressure P in the common rail is read in (at S1). If the fuel pressure P exceeds an upper limit fuel pressure Pmax (at S3), and if a difference ΔP from a target fuel pressure tP exceeds a threshold value ΔPmax (at S4), an abnormal rise of the fuel pressure P is determined to maximize the sharing ratio of the inter-cylinder fuel injection value (at S6). As a result, the injection quantity of the high pressure fuel is increased to lower the fuel pressure P quickly.
