Abstract:
To improve appropriateness of start-up determination when an internal combustion engine is started up through motoring with an electric machine having larger output than a starter motor.SOLUTION: When starting up a stopped internal combustion engine, an internal combustion engine control device allows fuel to be injected into a cylinder and burnt therein while rotationally driving an internal combustion engine with an electric motor and changes a succeeding fuel injection amount when determining that the internal combustion engine is started up under a condition that an engine rotation speed exceeds a start-up determination value. The internal combustion engine control device also sets the start-up determination value on the basis of torque output from the electric motor and supplied to the internal combustion engine when the same is started up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
