An internal combustion engine equipped with a power generator is composed of an engine 1, a motor 2 for main power generator rotated by the engine 1, a battery 3 charged with the motor 2, a drive motor 4 rotated by the battery 3, a turbine 5 coupled with the exhaust pipe of engine 1 and rotated by the exhaust gas from the engine 1, and a sub-motor for power generation 6 rotated by the turbine 5. The internal combustion engine rotates the turbine 5 with the exhaust gas of the engine 1. The turbine 5 in rotation rotates the sub-motor 6, to perform power generation. The output of the sub-motor 6 is supplied to the drive motor 4 for rotating it or is supplied to the battery 3 for charging it.
