Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality diagnostic device for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine capable of diagnosing abnormality in an early stage in the case it is generated in a fuel supply system by restraining drastic deviation of an alcohol concentration learning value from the original value and avoiding unnecessary limitation of execution period of an abnormality diagnostic process of the fuel supply system due to prolongation of a concentration learning process.SOLUTION: A period from having the inflow accumulation amount after determination of oil supply reaching an amount of starting supply of a fuel of a fuel tank 1 to a delivery pipe 4 to having the fuel in the delivery pipe 4 reach an amount of being substituted to a fuel after oil supply is defined as a concentration learning period so that the concentration learning process is executed only in that period. An abnormality diagnostic process for the fuel supply system is executed based on the deviation tendency of the real air-fuel ratio and the theoretical air-fuel ratio in the period excluding the concentration learning period.
