Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine for improving dissipation of heat.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine has: at least first and second cooling circuits; at least one single cylinder having a cylinder housing for housing a cylinder liner; and at least one single cylinder head. The cylinder liner is surrounded by at least one cooling jacket flow-connected to at least one cooling chamber in a single cylinder. The cylinder liner is surrounded by first and second jackets, and the first cooling jacket is separated from the second cooling jacket in the cylinder housing in its flow. To realize high efficiency and a low exhaust gas value, in the single cylinder head, the first cooling jacket is flow-connected to at least the first cooling chamber, and the second cooling jacket is flow-connected to at least the second cooling chamber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
