Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the operation performance of an engine from being impaired caused by liquid drops adhering around a fuel injection port of a fuel injection valve after stopping the engine, including volatile components volatilizing while catching soot remaining in a combustion chamber, generating a solid adhering article around the fuel injection port to deform the fuel injection port.
SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine having the fuel injection valve provided with a fuel heating device, the fuel injection valve is heated by the fuel heating device after stopping the engine, and the fuel liquid drops adhering around the fuel injection port is evaporated and dissipated.
