Abstract:

To provide an internal combustion engine capable of correctly detecting an output signal of a knock sensor.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine includes: an internal combustion engine body having a plurality of cylinders; knock sensors provided in each of the plurality of cylinders; a control board having an amplification circuit; and a plurality of cables having different length for connecting each of the knock sensors and the control board. The amplification circuit includes: a first charge amplifier connected to a first output terminal of the knock sensor via a cable for each of the plurality of cables; a second charge amplifier connected to a second output terminal of the knock sensor via the cable; and a differential amplifier with output of the first charge amplifier and output of the second charge amplifier as input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
