Abstract:
To downsize a protective protrusion for protecting a connection member provided in a protruding tip of a boss, in an internal combustion engine for a saddle type vehicle in which a cylindrical boss is integrally provided in a crank case of an engine body mounted on a vehicle body frame so as to protrude to the side from the crank case, and a connection member is connected to a protruding tip of the boss.
The protective protrusion 80A extending from the protruding tip of the boss 78 is integrally connected to the boss 78 in such a way as to protect the connection member 79 from the front side in the traveling direction of the vehicle.
