Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine sliding structure realizing further improvement in fuel efficiency and reduction in oil consumption.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine sliding structure comprises a cylinder bore 10, a piston 30 and a piston ring 40. The piston ring 40 has a top ring 50 and an oil ring 70. The top ring 50 or the oil ring 70 is allowed to come into contact with the cylinder bore 10 through an actual contact width of 0.05 mm or more in an axial direction of an actual contact face. Surface pressure between the actual contact face and the cylinder bore 10 is 2.0 MPa or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
