Abstract:
To improve starting performance in an internal combustion engine having a fuel injection valve 5 for injecting and supplying fuel with alcohol as a main component and a fuel supply pipe 6 for supplying the fuel to the fuel injection valve.
This internal combustion engine has the fuel injection valve for injecting and supplying the fuel with the alcohol as the main component and the fuel supply pipe for supplying the fuel to the fuel injection valve. A reforming catalyst 7 for converting the alcohol into diethyl ether is arranged in the fuel supply pipe 6.
