Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine valve timing control device capable of suppressing a large deformation in a motor housing due to the hardness of an adhesive and suppressing degradation in the seal performance of a seal member.SOLUTION: An adhesive 15 is applied between outer circumferential surfaces of permanent magnets 14a to 14d and a housing body 12a, and is formed of a component material such that, at a time of applying a load up to about 1.5 kN/cmper unit area to each permanent magnet from a shear direction at an ordinary temperature of about 20°C, the permanent magnet moves by up to about 0.13 mm from a position before the load is applied, and so that, at a time of applying the load up to about 0.3 kN/cmat a high temperature of about 170°C, the permanent magnet moves by up to about 0.15 mm from a position before the load is applied.
