Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a collision sound which is generated from an injector, in a dual-injector type internal combustion engine for a vehicle.SOLUTION: Two intake ports are formed at a cylinder head in response to one cylinder, and fuel is injected to the intake ports by injectors 3. A sound (collision sound, hitting sound) is generated when a valve body is moved by the drive of the injectors 3, however, drive timings of the two injectors 3 are displaced from each other by a time of a half of a cycle of the collision sound. By this constitution, sound pressure which is generated from the two injectors 3 as a whole can be suppressed, and an active sound reduction effect can be expected by cancelling the sound in a region in which the two sounds are superimposed on each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
