Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine water supply system capable of suppressing the freezing of water supplied to an intake system of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine water supply system of the invention comprises: a condensate water tank 31 storing therein condensate water CW; an antifreeze tank 41 communicating with the condensate water tank 31 via a connection passage 42 and storing therein antifreeze AF; a concentration adjustment valve 43 provided in the connection passage 42 and adjusting an antifreeze concentration; a concentration sensor 46 detecting the antifreeze concentration of the aqueous solution stored in the condensate water tank 31; and a condensate-water supply mechanism 35 supplying the aqueous solution in the condensate water tank 31 to an intake system of an internal combustion engine 1, the concentration adjustment valve 43 being controlled to supply the antifreeze AF to the condensate water tank 31 via the connection passage 42 if the antifreeze concentration is lower than a set concentration.
