Title:
INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH MAGNETISM ACTING ON COMBUSTION REACTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62214218
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve quality of fuel and its activation and to improve quality of exhaust gas, by providing magnetic structures to be arranged in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine and connecting these magnetic structures with magnetic members and a magnet so that combustion is controlled.

CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine is formed in construction such that its cylinder 1 opposes magnetic structures 5 of magnetic material in the upper part connecting magnetic structures 5 of magnetic material in the upper part connecting magnetic members 6 with these structures while a magnet 4 with these members. By this construction, a magnetic field can be generated acting on combustion reaction. In this way, the engine enables the magnetic field, which is generated during the combustion reaction having very important action for the combustion reaction, to radically act, and combustion can be controlled. In this way, knocking, preignition, exhaust gas, fuel consumption, etc. can be improved.
