PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine that reduces friction force and fuel consumption and improves a total length and unit compactness.SOLUTION: A reciprocating internal combustion engine has a line of parallel cylinders which are joined via connecting rods and pistons to a common crankshaft bearing of a crank drive, where the crankshaft bearing of a crank mechanism is offset relative to a cylinder axis.
