Abstract:
To miniaturize an internal combustion engine, and to improve weight balance of the internal combustion engine.
A clutch mechanism 163 for transmitting rotation of a crankshaft 47 of an engine to a driving wheel is provided on one side of the engine. A reduction gear 110 engaged with a primary driven gear 190 of the clutch mechanism 163 is provided at an upper part of the clutch mechanism 163. The reduction gear 110 has a starter one-way clutch 113 and is linked with a starter motor 107 through an idle gear 109. The starter motor 107 is provided at an upper part of the engine and in the vicinity of the center.
