Abstract:
The present invention minimizes the occurrence of the water hammer phenomenon even when condensed water that is generated by an intercooler is made to flow back to an internal combustion engine and thereby minimizes adverse effects on the internal combustion engine. A supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine is provided with: a compressor (50C) that constitutes one part of a supercharger (50), an intercooler (60), and a throttle valve (70) that are arranged in this order from the upstream side toward the downstream side of an air intake passage (30) that has an internal combustion engine (20) connected to the downstream end thereof; and an ejector (120). The drive gas supply port (120D) of the ejector (120) is connected to the air intake passage (30) that is positioned between the compressor (50C) and the throttle valve (70), the liquid inlet (120L) of the ejector (120) is connected to the condensed water discharge port (62) of the intercooler (60), and the mixed gas discharge port (120M) of the ejector (120) is connected to the air intake passage (30) that is positioned between the throttle valve (70) and the internal combustion engine (20). Also provided is an ejector that is used in the supercharger-equipped internal combustion engine.
