To provide a common-rail-type internal combustion engine of a simple structure in which a plurality of cylinders, and a pump device (12) for delivering fuel from a low-pressure region to a high-pressure region in a fuel-feeding device are provided, at least one inlet-valve for combustion-air, at least one outlet-valve for exhaust-gas, and at least one fuel injector (11) are installed in the each cylinder, an accumulation system is provided in the high-pressure region between the pump device and the fuel injector, and the accumulation system comprises a plurality of accumulation-units (16) mutually connected by means of delivery pipes (17).

Control devices for one or respective inlet-valves, one or respective outlet-valves, and respective accumulators (16) for the accumulation system are supported respectively by a common supporting device (15).
