Abstract:
To provide an internal combustion engine to be equipped with a vehicle, in which the fuel adhesion to the back side of the shade, while increasing the homogeneity of the air-fuel mixture.
The engine comprises the intake valve 30 having the shade part 40 having the shape in which the shade surface part 40a faced to the inside of the combustion chamber is projected from the outer edge toward the center, and the fuel injection valve 18 which can inject the fuel toward the shade surface part 40a when the shade part 40 is in the maximum lift position, and is disposed above the maximum lift position of the shade part 40 at the upper of the shade part.
