Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise due to the beating of a belt wound around a motor generator pulley and a tensioner pulley when starting, in an internal combustion engine equipped with a starter motor and a motor generator.SOLUTION: At the time of starting by a starter motor, within a range S0 since the occurrence of initial explosion till autonomic operation rotation speed R0, a motor generator is driven as a motor to assist rotations of a crank shaft. A deviation between rotational fluctuations of the crank shaft and rotational fluctuations of a motor generator pulley is eliminated, so that a bounding phenomenon of a belt and a tension pulley can be prevented. Consequently, the generation of noise due to beating of the tension pulley and the belt can be prevented.
