Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the high supporting strength of an auxiliary machine, without impairing freedom in design or a machining property and strength of a cylinder block, in a structure in which a first boss portion of an alternator is coupled to a first auxiliary bracket fixed to the cylinder block.MEANS: A first auxiliary bracket 17 is fixed to a bracket supporting portion 17 at a part on an outer peripheral outside of a first journal 6 by a bolt. On one end surface of a cylinder block 1, a recessed part 25 is formed, and in the recessed part 25, reinforcing ribs 35 and 36 connecting the first journal 6 or an inner boss 28 and the bracket supporting portion 17 are integrally formed. The stiffness of the bracket supporting portion 17 becomes high, so that the deformation of the first journal 6 and the change of a posture of an alternator 10 can be prevented. A connector 32 of the alternator 10 and a first boss portion 15 can be arranged in parallel while being shifted in an axial direction, so that poor connection due to vibrations can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
