Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine capable of adjusting a compression ratio has a plurality of coupling rods (1). The plurality of coupling rods (1) respectively has an eccentric adjusting device which is disposed on a coupling rod bearing eye (2) and/or a crank pin bearing eye (3) and can be adjusted by hydraulic pressure, so as to adjust the coupling rod effective length (leff) of the coupling rod (1). The adjusting movement of the eccentric adjusting devices can be adjusted by switch valves (10), and each switch valve (10) has tap means (14). The switch valves (10) can be adjusted by a drive device (15), and the drive device (15) has a switch fork (16) about each switch valve (10), namely each driven tap means (14). The tap means (14) of the switch valve (10) and the switch fork (16) of the drive device (15) are aligned with each other so as to assist the driving of the switch valve (10) by the drive device (15) with inertia force acted during the traveling action.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
